The Communist Latento <\/em>is an image\/text series that features photographs of found minimalist hand-drawn signage on transparent surfaces (mainly arrows and direction markers) annotated by a set of terse statements by Raqs. The work takes the form of a Latento<\/em>, a term coined by Raqs to suggest the converse of a Manifesto. It follows that this work can be read as a shadow-gloss of the more familiar Communist Manifesto <\/em>of Marx and Engels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
