It was very interesting in this article in The Daily Mail, which I also
saw, how they cynically used his mother and her alienation from her own
son's activities to further identify him as a loner-freak, rather than an
individual with cogent reasons for turning in a certain direction
politically, as well as being surrounded by like-minded friends. Perhaps
the strangest inset in the article, which also included bizarre and
decontextualised images of what looked like a tradefair for knives and
other basic arms, was a slot detailing the total food-and-drink consumption
of the delegates. Clearly, The Daily Mail just can't decide which target to
let its superficial moralism to rest on...
