False rumors about Spielberg Palestinian feature

Today's Hollywood Reporter mentions something that is terrible, but not surprising to me at all. Yesterday, a rumor was going around the Internet about Spielberg planning to direct a film about the "Palestinian Uprising" in a point of view would "criticize both Israel and Hollywood". 

Spielberg's publicity rep Marvin Levy has said it is "an obvious, vicious hoax". The false news was circulated on news lists, and the fake story was even said to "quote" Spielberg about the nonexistent project.
