A week or two ago Open Office went stable 
1.0 was released. heres the review

Mozilla also reached 1.0 just a few days ago 
mozilla is the open-souce web browser and is 
avaliable for MacOS 9, X, Linux, Windows,Solaris,
FreeBSD, Irix, BeOS. to name a few..
