Hi all,

A friend of mine pointed me towards several interesting articles that
offer a different perspective on the entire Iraq situation.
Iraq has recently switched from the dollar to the euro for all their oil
transactions. Several other OPEC countries such as Iran and Venezuela 
are considering the move. This ofcourse has major implications for the 
US economy. Getting hold of the region and thus the trade in that region 
might enable the US to restore the dollar for Iraqi oil trade.
