This is not a story.

It's a record spanning over a year and a half, of people who have survived one of the worst failures of state machinery since the partition. And of people who were never victims but who chose to care for those who are.

It is a record of Ahmedabad's past and present. It is an attempt at identifying Hindutva history.

More importantly, it is a record that needs to be set straight.

Or our country will edge closer to the precipice. And then perhaps, tomorrow may be too late for answers.
