[Reader-list] [ANNOUNCEMENT] Formation of Indian Koha Interest Group

Hi,

I would to inform all of you that the Indian Koha Interest Group has
been set up. The mailing list is up and running. 

Koha (www.koha.org) is the award-winning opensource software originally
from New Zealand; it is the world's first Free/Opensource Library
management software.

The objective of the Interest Group is to foster the use and adoption of
this Opensource Library Software in India, as well as to ensure that
Indians using/wanting to use Koha have a common forum to discuss issues
specific to indigenous libraries.

Koha may also be of interest to all who are interested in creating
online digital archives (Precisely the use I am making of Koha at my
deployment site)
