It may not, as you say - but then I am not sure that someone's personality 
can be broken up into discrete parts that are independent of one another. 
Diferent dimensions of her identity may be in conflict with one another in 
some situations, but when they form the personality, isn't the finished 
product, if you will, an integral whole?
