The Programme in Social and Political Theory takes great pleasure in
inviting you to a talk by Pradeep Jeganathan on Thursday, 21
September 2006 at 3.30 pm at the CSDS Seminar Room. He will be
speaking on "In the ruins of Truth: Massacre, Memory, Melancholia".



Pradeep Jeganathan is Senior Research Fellow, International Centre
for Ethnic Studies (ICES) Colombo, Sri Lanka. He is co-author with
Prof Qadri Ismail of "Unmaking the Nation" and co-editor of Subaltern
Studies, Vol 11. He has written extensively in various research
journals and is currently Editor of "Domains", the ICES journal. He
has also recently published a collection of short stories, "At the
Edge of Water", which was shortlisted for the Graatien award.
