If it is indeed true that a screening of And the World Remained Silent was fixed, why don't you get the concerned person from the college or film society to confirm it. Or at least, tell us who you were interacting with. Of course, you can also expect people to just take your word for it - as I'm sure many do. Let us all decide which is the more credible version. And so, perhaps, now the list can be spared this petty sparring.
