The mission of the National Museum of Women in the Arts (India) is to
highlight the contributions of women artists to the culture of India.
Conceived as a sister organization to the National Museum of Women in the
Arts, Washington D.C., NMWA (India) plans to celebrate the diverse artistic
achievements of women in architecture & design, crafts, literary,
performing and visual arts. The main center of the Museum will be in New
Delhi.
