[Reader-list] Conference deadline extension

Dear Friends,

Due to several requests, we are now extending the deadline of our Conference "Indian Mass Media and the Politics of Change" taking place on the 19th of October, 2007 at SOAS, until May 31st, 2007.  Abstracts of no longer than 300 words should be now sent to via email to
collective((at))sacredmediacow((dot))com. We have already received a number of excellent and diverse paper proposals from our colleagues and look forward to receiving many more that will make this conference
a thought-provoking and memorable event.  While we can unfortunately only choose a selected number of papers for presentation at the conference itself, all abstracts and ideas will be given a platform on the online conference workspace we are developing on our website. For
