Suddenly, overnight Yaba the amphetamine/speed/party drug is
everywhere in Dhaka.  Epidemic scream the papers.  And just like that
the ring is broken.  BMWs, porn tapes, druglords arrested, dual
passports huge haul.

Code names for the drug varieties are Lal Koottha (red dog) and
Golapjam (bangla sweet, I have no clue what is translation?).  PINK
DEATH screams Shaptahik 2000.

Only Rumi Ahmed seems to have noticed that the Yaba crackdown
dovetails very neatly with the Army's now-in-motion move to split the
rightist BNP into two.
