Dear All,
 Over the past three years, I and Kalyani Menon-Sen have been conducting
research in
Bawana, a resettlement site for evictees from Yamuna Pushta in Delhi. Our
findings,
based on a 2600-household sample intended to quantify the impact of eviction
and resettlement, were an attempt at a direct response to governmental
claims of improvement
of life in resettlement colonies.
