Dear Aarti,

Everywhere in the country, even in the world, people do care for each other.
They may have their prejudices or differences, but they never fail to
perform their humane responsibilities. It is the communal groups which try
to politicise the differences and make benefit out of it. The same thing is
happening in Kashmir today. 'While Mr Geelani and Mr Togadia may be enemies,
the fact is they are enemies with the same cause' (P Swami, The Hindu, July
1, 2008). The same cause is to deepen the communal divide in the J & K
further.
