Thanks for very thought provoking post and it is very relevant now that the elections are around the corner, it is indeed unfortunate that the bishops and clergies of christianity are on overdrive to be messengers and messages are too frequent to tarnish the other faiths using the political system, first it was incidents of indiscriminate actions of ATs in investigations of bombay train blasts, arrests without records, mass communication by leaks and thus a feel of victimhood to islamic community and no one is wiser as to what happened to the investigations of local train bomb blasts. Now to appease the islamic votes, indiscriminate arrests without proper records, illegal detentions by ATS of hindu individuals thus not only undermining the role and morale of the defence forces, but also giving the feel of victimisation to hindu society, thus in effect the christian society is to feel elated that their leaders are now in power.? Once the backlash starts,
 it will be both from muslim and hindu societies and the free India will not be free of the violence if the UPA uses the system to appease the chrsitian leaders who themselves are in deep trouble with the type of acts that they have indulged in, - the murder of sister Abhaya by the priests and a nun and sixteen years of investigation by CBI and the guilty shielded by the political class for their faith.? The publicity, well organised by the community to propaganda that followers are in ganger at Khandamal and at other places is far exagerarated and the Pope who talks about the sheep as shephard was silent on the suffering of lakhs of others in suffering with floods and malnutrition in India. Bishops encouraging the violence for the sake of votes is disgraceful, moreover the bishops have not presented themselves as paragons of virtues with their sex life with nuns and other females in followers of the faith. A bishop in kerala wanted a divine child at the
 age of 57 years from a 26 year ild, and is living with her, just as pope sermons that unless virtues are maintained the truth of gospel will not be effective.Sodomy and gay sex in community of priests and nuns is at the heighest level thanks to the churning out of priests and nuns for evangelical work in remote areas for salary and perks.

  Your post is equally applicable to all the faiths, be it islam, hindu or christianity. Unless the morality of the religion is good, none will accept the faith as good, as the individuals see the behaviour of role models  - the clergies of the faith.
