Thousands Demand the Freedom of Sindh in Jacobabad
 
 
Jacobabad: A massive rally, consisting thousands of participators organized by Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz [JSQM] in Jacobabad on November, 23, 2008 demanded the Freedom of Sindh.  Rally held for the Freedom of Sindh incepted from Shaheed Allah Bux Park. The rally marched on different roads of the city and staged sit on the Sindh –Balochistan border which resulted road block and traffic jammed for many hours. 
 
The people in rally were chanting against the injustices with Sindh by the federal government and hegemony Punjab and for the freedom of Sindh.  
 
Addressing the rally, JSQM Chairman Basheer Qureshi said that Sindh is rich  in resources and contributes a major share from its natural resources in Pakistan’s economy.  Every year it gives Rs. 300 billions to federal government as revenue but it does not get Rs. 2 billion a year at all.  He said that Sindh produce oil, gas, and coal resources but have not right to use its royalty   and these resources are being occupied by the federal government which is composed by the Punjabi bureaucracy. He said, today people of Sindh are committing suicides.  He further also focused the injustices of state and disappearance of the activists by the intelligent agencies.  
 
He said that people have taken to streets for the freedom and sovereignty of the Sindh under the message of G M Syed. He called the nation to unit the struggle of freedom.
 
He also announced that such kind of freedom rallies will be demonstrated in the large and small towns of Sindh. He declared that on December 21 a massive Freedom March will be held in Larkana and finally millions will gather in Karachi to demand freedom of Sindh in early 2009.  
 
Muhammad Rahmu, Dr. Niaz Kalani, Asadullah Shah,  Noordin Jamali, Nisar Lakhair , Ghazi Jakhrani , Akram Bjakani and others also spoke to the rally .
