[Reader-list] killing of journalists in assam and manipur

Dear all,



Rajdeep Sardesai, President of the Editors' Guild of India, today met Prime
Minister Dr Manmohan SIngh and apprised him of the killing of journalists in
Manipur and Assam.



The Prime Minister has expressed concern over killing of journalists in
Assam and Manipur. He has spoken to the Chief Ministers of both the states
and directed them to take immediate action. A judicial enquiry might be
ordered soon,
