 Indian Mujahideen's suicide brigade waiting to strike: Report

New Delhi, Sept 23: The Indian Mujahideen have formed three brigades to
foment terror in India, including a suicidal brigade called Shaheed
Al-Zarqawi Brigade. This detail has been revealed from a mail sent to Delhi
blasts accused Atif who was killed in an encounter with Delhi Police.

Zee News follow-up has revealed the Indian Mujahideen's other two brigades
are called: Shahbuddin Gouri Brigade (for South India), Mahmood Gaznavi
Brigade (for North India).

Each brigade has 25-30 terrorists, waiting to strike anywhere in the
country.

The names of the three brigades are after Muslim attackers (Gouri and
Gaznavi) and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a dreaded al-Qaeda terrorist who was
killed in US bombing of Iraq and was also accused of assassinating President
Sadaat of Egypt.

Atif, who was killed along with Faqruddin alias Shahid in a special
encounter by the Delhi Police that also killed an inspector MC Sharma, was
the alleged mastermind of the Delhi blasts that killed atleast 24.

Atif, a resident of Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh, was handling all the work of
the Indian Mujahideen, and was one of the top leaders, according to what
Saif- another suspect of Indian Mujahideen- had told the investigators. Atif
was in charge of manufacturing the bombs and executing the blasts, Saif
said.
