[Reader-list] Back home, I feel reborn

Yest another crafted story. At least many parts of it are deliberately been
filled with masala, so as to give the feel of pain and alienation. Malik
Sajad, is not just a cartoonist, but as a well a good fiction writer. You
will go places... And, no doubts why Sanjay Kak could easily identify with
it. Wasn't Jashn-e-Aazadi on  similar lines ?

I don't know about others; but at least I could see Malik Sajad roaming all
over India Habitat Centre and of course near his installation every day with
a big smile on his face. There was no fear or hesitation in his posture and
on his face. For information sake, I attended the PSBT International Film
Festival almost for 5-6 days.

I was told, he even tried to attract attention of the people by creating a
fake drama, when the discussion on, 'Dialogue Peace in Kashmir" was on and
which ultimately made things worse and there was apparently no peaceful
discussion. Even the organisers failed to make it a neutral discussion.

We respect a different view, and we should. But, this doesn't mean a person
is free to cross all boundaries. Malik Sajad is a well brain-washed kid, who
knows how to exaggerate things and blow things out of proportion to entangle
people through his words and drama. It was quite similar with his
exhibition. Wonder how Govt. could fund such an anti-state exhibition ?

There are thousands of Kashmiri Muslims living in Delhi, doing brisk
business and living as any other ordinary Indian, they participate in daily
rituals, and are as true Delhites as any other Bengali, Tamil, or a Gujarati
here. And, they don't face problems. Yes, they do, but to categorise them on
patterns as such done by Malik sajad, is mere propaganda.

There are young Kashmiri Muslims in various elite Delhi schools such as DPS,
Modern etc.; similarly in DU, Jamia and JNU and they get the best possible
education, friendships, etc. They live normally as any other of their
classmates. To segregate them on such lines, is disastrous.
