Hi Rakesh,
           A little correction please.It was not the triple talaq to Shah Bano which was under dispute but maintenance to a divorced woman under Sec 125 CrPC . The Supreme Court, disregarding what the Muslim Personal Law provides,directed her husband to pay alimony to his divorced wife.But this decision of the SC was made a nullity by enactment of a law by Rajiv Gandhi govt.under pressure from Muslim community.
