Job Title: Counselor, Psychotherapist

Office Base: Arpan Head Office, c/o Famycare Ltd., 2nd floor, Bharat House,
Near Bombay Stock Exchange, Mumbai

Will be required to do more field work in schools.

Job purpose: To tackle sexual abuse disclosures by children in schools,
provide counseling service to them and meet parents and coordinate with
teachers and school Counselor so that appropriate intervention is sought for
the child.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1.. Coordinate and work with Personal Safety education (PSE) trainer, help
her with implementation of PSE lessons.
2.. Analyze student's worksheets referred by PSE trainer, identify the
problems and provide counseling services if needed.
3.. Encourage and handle disclosures from students about incidents of child
sexual abuse and facilitate intervention by counseling the child/ refer the
child to an external counselor, meet parents and coordinate with the
teachers and School counselors.
4.. Prepare detailed report on each session with students (and parents).
Training will be provided by Arpan's trainers for the same.

Consults with: Head PSE Trainer

Terms of employment: Full time employment.

Salary: Rs. 10,000 plus

Person specifications:

a.. Counselor/ Psychologist with min two years experience in working with
children.
b.. Sensitive and passionate about children's safety
c.. Ability to build good rapport with children within a short time span
d.. Ability to communicate sensitive information to concerned individuals
and be sensitized in taking appropriate action
e.. Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
f.. Fluent in English and Hindi.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Based at: Arpan Office, c/o Famycare Ltd., 2nd floor, Bharat House, Near
Bombay Stock Exchange, Mumbai

Job purpose: To handle all office administrative work and assist CEO

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1.. Printing and Filing of reports, bills and receipts
2.. Handling communications via email and phone
3.. Co-ordinating meetings, events, follow up with Arpan team members and
relevant people
4.. Assist CEO with Administrative work
Reports to: CEO

Terms of employment: Full time employment.

Salary: Rs. 7,000 or plus depending on credentials and experience

Person specifications:

a.. Good communication skills
b.. Proficient in Computers, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
c.. Fluent in English and Hindi.

Job Title: Multilingual Trainer

Job purpose: To conduct awareness and training sessions on Child Sexual
Abuse in Hindi / Marathi

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1.. Conduct Training session
2.. Preapare a report on the session and submit to office
Reports to: Head Trainer

Training on Child Sexual Abuse will be imparted by Arpan

Terms of employment: Free lance

Reimbursement: Rs. 500 plus travel for 1 hr to 2hrs of training. Rs. 800
plus travel for 2.5 - 3 hrs of training

Person specifications:

a.. Good communication skills
b.. Knows English. Fluent in Hindi and Marathi.
c.. Sensitive to the issue of Child Sexual Abuse
