(a) whether the Government propose to re-start the process of issuance
of photo identity cards to voters in Assam and Mizoram; and

(b) if so, the time by which the process is likely to be re-started

(a) and (b): The Election Commission has informed that it does not
consider it opportune at the present juncture to restart issuance of
photo identity cards to voters in Assam and Mizoram
