PK, which had given the slogan of"carving out a homeland with union
territory status for the Kashmiri

in the valley", had disintegrated into three factions in 2003.

The struggle for the Kashmiri
<http://search.indopia.in/begin.php?txtsearch=Kashmiri&newsCatId=1>pandits
has entered into a crucial phase and there was a yearning in the community
for unity among us, leaders of the factions said adding it will encourage
other groups to follow suit and hasten the attainment of homeland in
Kashmir.
