Applications are invited for positions of Professors and Senior Fellows in
Economics,

Geography, History, Political Science, Sociology, Social Anthropology,
Cultural Studies and

Development Studies (with specialization in health, environment, education
and gender issues)

at the Centre. Applicants must have a proven record of significant research
publications.

Pay scales for Professors are Rs.16,400-450-20,900-500-22,400/- (likely to
be revised).

Central University allowances are applicable. Appointments may be either
temporary (for a

period of three years) or permanent. Selections need not be restricted to
applicants only.

qualifications, research and

teaching experiences, list of publications and a brief description of
current research, along
