Yes, I would agree with that being the better option. (Depending on the severity of the crime and/or evaluation of the "psyche" and severity of "indoctrination" of the guilty person)

If that be the case then the life sentence should also be modified to clearly state "Till death in Prison" as currently for life term it is 14 years and there can also be no mercy plea for release.
