Hello,

I work for a children's book publisher. We're currently in the process of
sourcing these for a book of songs and rhymes from around India. We believe
that such a compilation will offer a creative and culturally rich
alternative to the English nursery rhymes that are still being used in
classrooms and books across the country. Looking especially for these
languages:Rajastani, Kashmiri, Punjabi, Manipuri, Chattisgarhi, Urdu,
Assamese, Himachali and Urdu. Those of you who know, do respond. Ideally,
we'd like original script with translation. But if some of you can even
write down small rhymes you know in your mother tongue (romanize it) and
mail it, that would be great.

Thanks!

Niveditha
