Hi all

I have been reading P.Sainath's articles, and while some of his articles are
sarcastic, the ones on this issue of agricultural crisis have just brought
tears to my eyes (and it can to yours too, trust me, be it a
saffron/red/centrist/liberal/conservative ideologue). It is indeed shameful
that we keep on talking about liberalization while our farmers just have to
die in a manner smacking of injustice and wrongs perpetrated one after the
other.

It's high time we realize this crisis, even as the next mail I post (the
final one in this set) is actually a positive article even as it continues
with the era of suicides, possibly indicating the direction in which we have
to move (and we have no choice).
