I think we should realize that reform is needed in our daily lives, not just
in the religions or followers of a religion necessarily. Cultures do change,
and people also take time to change. What may have been considered
acceptable at one point of time may no longer be acceptable today. So social
movements are indeed needed to bring about that reform which is required.
And this reform is as important for the Muslims as it is for the Hindus, for
the Christians, for the Sikhs, for Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and yes, the
Maoists, the Leftists, the socialists, the democrats, the republicans, every
single human being infact. We have to keep reforming.

We can't say that Hindus only want reform and not Muslims, or vice versa.
Each one of us has to reform in some way or the other, for the good of the
society.
