The IIHS is pleased to announce an Institute on ‘Re-Imagining the World-Class City’ to
be held in Bengaluru from 3 to 9 January 2011. We would be grateful if you were
to nominate/circulate this to appropriate candidates. 

This week-long initiative will bring together
theoretical debates and existing practices, enabling an interdisciplinary
exploration of the systems, processes and values that drive the development of
these cities. The Institute will be conducted by an inter-disciplinary Indian
and international faculty of academics and practitioners for the selected 40 applicants.
Applicants should either have completed or be currently pursuing Bachelors or
Masters programmes areas any discipline. The Institute is also open to young
professionals from relevant fields with no more than five years of work
experience.
