[Reader-list] Windmills in Herat?

Dear all

I am off to Afghanistan at the beginning of May
I have heard stories about the "famous" windmills of Herat, but found no 
evidence whatsoever.
Is it an urban legend? Does anyone know anything about them?

Any info will be greatly appreciated
