Given FICCI's commitment to boost commerce in entertainment and media in the Indian states and as part of our objective to boost the entertainment industry in Eastern India, we are delighted to host   MEBC Kolkata – A New Dawn: Resurgence of the East on  December 14 th , 2011 in Kolkata .
Our endeavour is also to commemorate 150 years of the artistic genius of Kobiguru Rabindranath Tagore on this occasion and hence the theme of the Conclave will be 150 Years of Enduring Magic: Celebrating the Genius of Rabindranath Tagore .
Conclave objectives:

To provide a forum for the Government to receive authentic information on the state of the region's Entertainment Industry, its problems and prospects
An opportunity for the industry to explore its global linkages
To release a well-researched document on the dat a and records of the industry which will be the first of its kind
Exposure to global trends, best practices, business possibilities and regulatory regimes in different countries
