Greetings,

All of you have been reading about the situation in assam and also the
terrible situation of people who are living in the camps.

Past couple of days i was there in Assam along with my team saw the
situation.

The camps are over crowded with not sufficient supplies.

The Deputy Commissioners have been very co-operative in providing
information and support at all levels.

for all those friends who are planning to go to Assam or are already there,
I am forwarding a request sent by one of the deputy  commissioners from
Gossaingaon.

Mr Vinod Seshan DC of Gossaingaon has requested support from Civil Society
for the following.

1. Education  support for children
2. Pediatric and Specialist care for camps
3. Career Counselling and career building for youth
4. Village adoption for those villages that are burnt completely.
