[Reader-list] Call for documentaries: PVR Director’s Rare to select 6 feature length documentaries for release in India

After having released the successful Supermen of Malegaon, a rich tribute to the filmmaking passion of the people of Malegaon and having planned the theatrical release of Fire in Babylon on 21st September, 2012, PVR Director’s Rareinvites quality documentaries, 6 of which will be selected for a release every month in India.The documentaries have to be of Indian origin.
Run time: 60 minutes and above.

1. A synopsis of the documentary
2. A Youtube link to the trailer of the documentary
3. Director’s biography
4. Cast and Crew Details
5. Press Stills
6. Awards, felicitations, festival premieres, if any

PVR Director’s Rare holds the right to the materials after receipt, the copyright of the above materials and the film shall remain with the applicants, PVR will only facilitate the release of the film. The decision of the selected documentaries will be full and final. Any queries regarding the selection process should be made on the given id during this time, no queries will be entertained after the decision for release has been taken. PVR holds the right to release the film once the application has been made, any correspondence for withdrawal of the film for release shall not be entertained and the decision by the selection committee will be full and final.
