[Reader-list] Persistence Resistance 2012

Dear Friends,
It gives me great pleasure to invite you to the 2012 edition of Persistence
Resistance in New Delhi.

The film festival will run from 9-17 February across four venues:
February 9 - 11: British Council
February 10: Arts Faculty, Delhi University North campus (in collaboration
with margHumanities)
February 12 - 15: India International Centre
February 17: Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan

Additionally an installation in collaboration with Khoj-IFA will be on from
9-15 February at the Queens Gallery, British COuncil

As always the festival will present multiple viewing and screening
practices: along with screenings in auditorium, films will also be shown in
simulated video parlors, in a multi hub video library and as installation,
encompassing linear, circulatory, on-demand and transitory ways of
screening and viewing.

Persistence Resistance 2012 will premier documentaries, screen award
winning films, a few rarely seen films, curated selections from film
archives from Germany and India, installations, in-depth conversations with
filmmakers and pay homage to Homai Vyarwalla, Tareque Masud and Lucia
Rikaki.
