Call for Applications 
 
 Asmita Media Fellowship 2012-13 

Asmita Resource Centre for Women invites applications for four Media projects on the issue of low female age at marriage in English(1), Telugu(2) and Urdu(1).  Four projects, two from the print media and two from television will be awarded fellowship of Rs.10,000/- each towards financial support for travel and research. The fellowship is valid from July 2012 to February 2013.  

Applicants must submit the following no later than 30 June, 2012:
1.	A draft proposal detailing the activity they will undertake whether feature stories/ articles/ case studies  for publication (for print) or a short feature film or advertisement to be telecasted (for TV fellowship), in which language and region. 
2.	A brief personal statement on why they consider themselves as suitable candidates (not exceeding 500 words in Telugu, Urdu or English) 
3.	Curriculum vitae (2 page only)
4.	One sample of published/broadcasted work preferably on the proposed or related theme
5.	 Two references from persons who have known the applicant professionally for at least one year. 

Women, Persons with disabilities and those belonging to Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes are encouraged to apply.
