PROTEST AGAINST THE POLICE HIGHHANDED WAS AGAINST THE FARMERS OF
ANTINUCLEAR MOVEMENT IN HARYANA.

Dear Friends and Comrades,

You must be aware about the heroic farmer’s resistance movement
against the proposed Nuclear Power plant at Garakhpur district
Fatehabad Haryana. The protesting farmers have been sitting in a
peaceful Dharna in front of the DC office against the Nuclear Power
plant since August 2010. This year in August the Dharna will complete
two years, which it self is a mile stone in antinuclear and farmers
resistance to forceful eviction in India.

Yesterday 28/06/2012 when a group of officials cane to Gorakhpur
Village to conduct forcible survey, the villagers protested against
this arbitrary survey. Instead of having a dialogue with the villagers
the district administration slapped false criminal cases including
absurd charges like SC. ST act on more than 50 farmers.

Please write to the Chief Minister of Haryana to withdraw the criminal
cases against the protesting Farmers, and scrap the proposed Nuclear
Power plant.
