A workshop is being organized on “Visual Methods in Social Research:
Integration in Research and Teaching” on 2 April 2012 at IIT Delhi
(10-5pm), which is located only 0.5 km from JNU campus
(http://www.iitd.ac.in/).

Experts who have confirmed include keynote lecture by Prof Marcus
Banks (ISCA, University of Oxford), and lectures by Prof Andy Lawrence
(Granada Centre, University of Manchester), Prof Paolo Favero (CRIA,
Lisbon), Prof Patricia Uberoi (CSDS, Delhi) and Mr. Rahul Roy
(Independent documentary and film maker, Delhi).

Faculty and postgraduates interested in attending this workshop should
register in advance by email with the organizer Dr Vibha Arora at
aurora at hss.iitd.ac.in giving the following particulars: Full name,
Institutional affiliation, Status (teacher, PhD student, postgraduate

March 2012. This workshop is being organized by Dr Vibha Arora
