School of Performing and Visual Arts, IGNOU, requires twoConsultants to teach M.P.A. Theatre Arts besides other academic work in theSchool, on Contractual basis at IGNOU Maidan, Garhi, New Delhi-110 068
 
1.   One Consultant           :           ActingTheory and Practical
 
2.   One Consultant           :           TheatreDirection and Design (Theory and Practical)
 
Qualifications: 
·        Essential EducationalQualifications : M.A. Theatre Arts from any recognized University or PG Diplomain Dramatics from National School of Drama
·        Desirable EducationalQualifications : Ph.D. in Theatre Arts
·        Experience : Minimum 2 Yearsteaching experience in theatre at UG or PG Level.
 
Remuneration/Honorarium : Rs.22,500/- to Rs. 30,000/- (Consolidated)
Duties : To assist theSchool in teaching M.P.A. Theatre Arts and other academic activities.
The tenure ofthe contract will be initially for six months and extendable further based onhis/her performance.
Selectedcandidates shall have no right for claiming regular appointment in theuniversity.
