Hello all,

The UnBox Festival is back, & with it, UnBox Fellowships 2013. If you're passionate, interesting & interested, we want to hear about it!

We combine interdisciplinary practice, honest & intimate experiences, and, most importantly, a chance to experience a “hands-on, minds-on” immersion with new friends— Everything that the UnBox ’13* Festival is about.

The UnBox Fellowship is a 3-4 week programme for 15 fellows from creative industries and related research fields. Teams of 3 will be placed at 5 host organizations in India where they will explore ‘design thinking’ for: sustainable communities, innovation in digital media, social change, entrepreneurship and new technologies.

Fellows will also have the opportunity to present outcomes and ideas at UnBox for a chance to bid for booster funding to continue fellowship outcomes.

Fellowship opportunities:
UnBUILD: Explore sustainable approaches to art, food, crafts & heritage with People Tree in Goa.
UnMAP: Map important cultural sites along Grand Trunk Road and build interactive ways of disseminating information about them with CRCI in Sirhind.
UnPLAY: Explore Kinect-based technology to develop interactive games as a means to communicate social messages with Quicksand in Delhi.
UnTILL: Work with technology to increase awareness around better farming techniques and community participation with Digital Green in Delhi.
UnVEIL: Use film and digital media to make issues around law and governance easier to understand and engage in with PRS Legislative in Delhi.

Applications are due by November 30th, so please apply or share with like-minded friends, peers, and communities!
