We invite you to send us your short and full-length features, short and 
long documentaries, animation and experimentalfilms. Please send us your 
entries and pass this call on to friends, lovers and colleagues who 
might want to send in theirs.

BQFF 2012 brought us a whole bunch of exciting packages: Indonesian 
films curated by John Badalu, director of the Q! Film Festival 
(Jakarta), including the thrilling transgender superhero story of/Madame 
X/; quirky Australian films curated by filmmaker Anna Helme; the super 
hit queer Tamil horror/Kanchana/; a retrospective of the moving films of 
Lebanese artist and filmmaker Akram Zataari; a package curated by Shai 
Heredia, director of Experimenta (Bangalore); a collection of 
ground-breaking and diverse films from India and South Asia; and much 
more (and some of these films went on to festivals at Sweden and Jakarta 
as part of a BQFF package).

We hope to be able to bring the same kind of film-viewing experience to 
our audiences this coming year as well.

*Organisers*

BQFF 2013 is organised by Good As You (GAY), SWABHAVA Trust and We're 
Here andQueer(WHAQ!) and Pirat Dykes. All groups are non-funded and 
operate entirely on donations. BQFF 2012 was organised largely with the 
support of donations from the LGBT community.

*Festival**details*

TheBangaloreQueerFilmFestivalwill be hosted in the last week of 
February, 2013. The venue will be the Alliance Française deBangalore, 
Vasanthnagar.

Submission details*

BQFF uses only DVD or VCD formats for final screening. Please send in 
your disk (for preview) to the address listed below.

Filmmakers will be notified about selectedfilmsand further requests 
regarding subtitling or better quality disks may be made at the time. 
Allfilmswill be required to have English subtitles for final screening.

BQFF 2013 is a FREE event and no charges are levied on submissions. 
Additionally, onlyfilmsthat do not carry a screening charge will be 
accepted.*
