[Reader-list] Secretariat March at Trivandrum on 29th October

Dear Friends,

You are quite aware that the Kudankulam anti nuclear struggle is on
its last legs now. We, people at the receiving end of all the
destructiveness of the project, have to see that the struggle wins
ultimately. The agitating people of Kudankulam, with the support of
various organizations in Tamilnadu have decided to lay siege on the
secretariat in Chennai, demanding the scrapping of Kudankulam nuclear
power plant. One lakh people are expected to take part in that siege
in Chennai on 29th October

We in Kerala, are equally victims of the Kudankulam plant .The '
Kudankulam Aanavanilayaviruddha Samara Aikyadardyasamithi ', Keralam
has decided to have a  simultaneous Secretariat March  at Trivandrum
on 29th October itself, in solidarity to the protest at Chennai. We
have to impress upon the Government of Kerala strongly the need to
pass a resolution to scrap the Kudankulam plant.

We request you to do whatever you can to make the march a success,
taking into consideration the urgency of the whole issue. Kindly see
that yourself and maximum number of members from your organization
participate in the march at Trivandrum which starts at 10 A. M on 29th
this month.
