Strike Observed
Strike was observed in Umerkot district on Sunday to denounce
injustices and atrocities against minority communities. Representatives of 40
Panchayats from Sindh attended a convention held in Lord Shiva Temple in
Umerkot, reported daily Dawn today.

US Senators write to President Zardari
A bipartisan group of six U.S. senators have asked Pakistan President
Asif Ali Zardari to take immediate action for the release of the minor
Christian girl who was arrested on charges of blasphemy, and also address the
problem of religious intolerance against Hindus in the country.
