Kudankulam Day on October 2

The Committee for Solidarity with the Anti-Nuclear Agitation will
observe October 2 as Kudankulam Day in Kerala. A press note quoting T.
Peter, convenor of the committee, said police raids and blockades had
led to scarcity of food and drinking water in Kudankulam. It said a
section of political parties, the media, and the public had realised
the dangers posed by the Kudankulam plant to Kerala. The committee
would organise programmes throughout Kerala on October 2.
