[Reader-list] 1 after 320: Calling applications for sound project

We are looking for sound works that will be part of a public art exhibition
"Listen Up" co-curated by Diana Campbell Betancourt (Mumbai) and Tim
Goossens (NYC) and assisted by Phalguni Desai (Mumbai) beginning in January
2014. This exhibition is being supported by Exhibit320 as the first of its
non-profit, “1after320” projects. These works should respond to specific
locations in South Delhi (example, Lado Sarai Neighborhood, Saket Metro
Station, Garden of Five Senses, Select CityWalk Mall, Qutub Minar) and be
short in duration (less than 3 minutes long) as the format of the
exhibition is via a mobile phone application which allows people to
experience the work across the city without the problem of noise pollution
or vandalism. We are not looking for random sound bites, but rather for
works that draw inspiration from specific contexts and locations in Delhi
without a physical object component. There is no travel budget for this
iteration of the exhibtion, but there may be in the future as it travels to
other cities.
