The Long Night of Theater is conceived as an intensive exposure to the process of devising and making theater. Over the course of 24 hours, participants will ideate and create a performance which will be shown to an invited audience at the end of the workshop.
Led by Anirudh Nair (Wide Aisle Productions) and Sukhesh Arora (Yellowcat Arts Co.), the daylong event features master classes by Abhilash Pillai (National School of Drama), Anurupa Roy (Katkatha) and Niranjani Iyer (Ecole Jacques Lecoq) that are designed to unpack the process of making theater through collaborative processes.
Anyone can apply. However, participation will be based on a screening by a jury.
