society and culture passed away at his home in Oxford on 26th November 2014.

A Memorial Meeting  in Honour of Professor Tapan Raychaudhuri will be held
at *5 pm* on *16th December* 2014 at CSDS Seminar Room.

We request you to join us in paying tribute to this extraordinary historian
and share our fondest memories of him.
