It's to spread the word on The Good Story Competition, a short-video competition of the most entertaining, compelling stories of everyday people in Asia doing good to improve the lives of others


It’s an opportunity for filmmakers, whether they're students, hobbyists or professionals, to show their creativity in telling these stories in the most engaging way. All under four minutes.


It’s a chance not just to win a cash prize but also to win the same cash prize amount for the non-profit or social enterprise featured in their video entry. That way, everybody wins!

2. Who are the people/organisation behind it


The Good Story Competition is organised by OurBetterWorld.org whose mission is to inspire tangible action for change through the sharing of compelling stories of good. OurBetterWorld.org is an initiative of the Singapore International Foundation

Deadline for video submission is 21 March 2014


Categories and Top Prizes:



OPEN
One Top Prize
• S$4,000.00 will be awarded to winning filmmaker
• S$4,000.00 to non-profit/social enterprise featured in the winning entry

PROFESSIONAL
One Top Prize
• S$8,000.00 will be awarded to winning filmmaker
• S$8,000.00 to non-profit/social enterprise featured in the winning entry




Additional prize will be awarded to the Audience’s Choice (chosen by online voting)
• S$1,000.00 will be awarded to winning filmmaker
• S$1,000.00 will be awarded to the non-profit/social enterprise featured in the winning entry
