Registrations open: Film Appreciation course in Goa
A short term Film Appreciation course will be conducted in Goa from July 25-31, 2014 at Maquinez Palace, Auditorium No.II, Panaji. This course will be organized jointly by the National Film Archive of India, Pune and the Entertainment Society of Goa with the aim of educating film enthusiasts on the art of appreciating films.
The course is open to all who are interested in film studies. The curriculum includes theoretical study of the art and history of cinema, development of cinema as a medium of art and communication and various other aspects of the medium. Classics from both Indian and International cinema will be used for critical analyses and study. The course will be conducted from 9.30 am to 7.30 pm every day at Maquinez Palace and the medium of instruction will be in English.

The total number of seats available for the course is 60. Last date for submission of application along with the applicable fee is 10th July 2014.
Course Fee: Rs.5000/- (inclusive of lunch & snacks/tea/coffee). The DD should be drawn in favour of Entertainment Society of Goa, payable at Panaji, Goa.
