Filmmakers from around the world who have completed short films in 2014 can compete at a festival.

The Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival is currently accepting entries for its 2014 screenings and competitions.  
Animation, drama, documentary and experimental films shorter than 30 minutes are eligible for screening.

The festival will take place Sept. 16-21 in Bristol, United Kingdom.

The base fee for entering a film is EUR25. Films in languages other than English must include English subtitles.

Cash prizes in 13 categories will be awarded, including a GBP1,000 prize for best documentary.

The deadline to submit films completed in 2014 is May 16.
